10 July 2010, Jogjakarta Plaza Hotel celebrated its 15^th anniversary. The celebration held in in the lobby of the hotel with ‘tumpengan’ ceremony that attended by all of the employee & management. This modest typical Javanese event nevertheless attracted some of the foreign guest to joined the celebration by eating ‘yellow rice tumpeng’. This celebration then continued with dinner together of the Management of Jogjakarta Plaza Hotel with the employee that have been working with Jogjakarta Plaza Hotel for 5, 10, and 15 years.

Further, Jogjakarta Plaza Hotel also held a social activity event in Langenbaswara meeting room by giving free medical treatment and blood donor for the neighborhood of Jogjakarta Plaza Hotel. By this, Jogjakarta Plaza Hotel wants to give contribution for the health of the people around hotel whose lack of medical treatment. Also to give the chance for the staff, management and people from the surrounding to show their care by giving blood donor for PMI.
